We specialize in locally made products manufactured with quick lead times including 2-3 weeks for standard product and 4-6 weeks for custom product, from date of approval. We also have a stocking program which utilizes select TFL colors that can be fulfilled within 5 days or less.
Additionally, we have an extensive line of removable, fixed and mobile protective screens that likewise can be produced in 5 days or less.
We have broken down our shop capabilities by providing a multi-step breakdown of the production processes employed. We hope this offers insight into how we work and what skills we bring to each project.
Our material comes in 3/4", 1", and 1-1/4". We work with both HPL and TFL sheet goods.
In addition to our locally-made products, we offer the option to re-surface your existing worksurfaces.
We can also cut down any existing surfaces you have in order to re-purpose or modify your existing furniture.
Laminate is pressed on to a substrate using our Therm O Web lamination system. The Therm O Web is a dry glue, heat-pressure system.
The substrate with dry glue is indexed with laminate to ensure proper alignment of laminate.
The substrate & laminate is put through a 1400-degree heating process to bond the laminate to the substrate.
Substrates are cut on our Striebig vertical saw which allows optimal yield when cutting worksurfaces.
Accuracy, Squareness & Quality of Cut:
On a vertical saw the panel remains stationary and the saw moves on precision guides through the material. You are not relying on an operator to keep the work-piece up against a fence, which ensures precise and clean cuts of solid surface and melamine.
Our nesting machine enables optimized CNC Processing and dividing of sheets goods like laminated substrates, solid woods, plastics, acrylics, phenolic and more.
Our automation software allows extremely precise high-production routing and vertical drilling of panel materials for cabinetry, furniture, and countertops in a variety of contours. We can accommodate seamless custom contours up to 48” wide and 96” long
For our standard edgebanding we use a 2mm PVC on all worktops and 1mm on all casegoods. Using our state-of-the-art machinery we can also apply a .5, 1, 2, or 3mm PVC, solid wood, or self-edge on any top or panel ranging from 1/4" to 2-1/4" thick.
Our custom shop can apply any of these edges up to 6” thick by hand
A perfect complement to a nested-based CNC machining center, our new doweling
machine allows horizontal drilling, or it can function independently as a stand-alone
solution for simultaneous horizontal and vertical drilling as well as gluing and dowel insertion for high production.
Increasing efficiency by minimizing set-up times and maximizing production times, our doweling machine drills, glues and inserts dowels within seconds.
The SNX nVision System1 G3 hot melt contour edgebander offers our woodworking
shop an easy, affordable, and versatile shaped part banding solution. This allows us to provide our customers with complex shaped parts such as:
-round & racetrack tables
-radiused edges
-kidney, 120 degree, bowfront, p-top, bullet, sided & corner surfaces
in a faster, more efficient way than ever possible.
